The closest I am to a boyfriend atm

After spending most of my day lounging on the sofa eating and watching don't tell the bride and dirty dancing I decided to actually pull my lazy arse out of the comfortable position I was in and take photos to do a outfit post. I am now back in my pyjamas and on the sofa writing this post.

So I tried to style the boyfriend jeans in this outfit because I just know that they are going to be a big trend this aautumn and also because I love the kind of grunge look they create with the rips. This jumper was one of the items that I have purchased with my wages for an amazing £7.99 from h&m. I absolutely love it.In spring it can be worn on its own but in the winter you can pop a cami underneath for that extra bit of warmth. It also goes great with next to anything. Lastly I tried to actually wear my porkpie hat from h&m that I got for my birthday last February. I've always really liked these hats so my sister brought me this one and a bowler hat but I have never been able to wear them! I've always felt that I can't pull it off partly because of the fact that my sister pulls it off way better than me and the fact that I lack rather in the confidence department! But in the end I've grown to like this outfit ( including that hat!)

I will , hopefully, be doing more outfit posts in the future and will stick to blogging more often. I think I may do a back to school post next. please comment your opinions.

A day in Brighton

A while ago I took a week holiday to Brighton with my auntie and cousin. So on my visit down south to London it was just crucial to take my parents to this wonderful city I had fell in love with.
Unluckily we had quite unfortunate weather but on the upside at least it didn't rain! I managed to get my legs out to build up my tan without getting too cold. Bonus!
First we took a visit to ' wai kika moo kau' for lunch and I have to say that it was as lovely as ever. From my first visit to ' wai kika moo kau' I've loved it. I absolutly love the falafel and hummus wrap. My twin had the same thing and parents had a salad and a all day breakfast ( vegan of course). They both said that it was lovely!
We then went for a potter around the lanes. Whilst we were pottering we saw a sign advertising gluten free cakes at cloud9. As my mum is gluten free we had to pop in and have a cake and hot drink. I had a lovely Oreo cupcake, Amy and caramel cheesecake brownie thing, Andrew a banana cupcake and my mumma had the most lovely brownie ever.
Lastly we went to the pier and played in the arcades. We got the tickets and put them all together to get a minion mug for Andrew for his new house ( he has a little bit of a thing for minions and a lack of mugs). Amy and I then got henna but as it hadn't dried when I am posing this post I will do another on the henna later.
As for what I was wearing. I wore my lovely H&M dress which I got in the sale for an amazing £7! It has a cut out back and the tiered skirt is complimentary. As this dress is a little on the short side I lengthened the straps and popped my simple primark white crop top underneath for a layered look. Unfortunatly the weather wasn't completely on our side so I did have to wear my lovely fluffy cardi which wasn't a big downside. This again is from Primark for a great £12! You can't go wrong! For shoes , I went for comfty and stylish with my doc martens. I've had these for nearly 2 years now and they are still easily my favourite boots I own. I am hoping for some matte black ones this Christmas, fingers crossed.

American Apparel Wishlist

Having recently becoming obsessed with Instagram ( @thanksfornothingblog ) I have seen a lot of people style American apparel clothing. And I have to admit it was love at first sight. Close to every item that I have asked ' where is this from?' the answer has been American apparel. So obviously there are a  few items that I love more than others so I thought I would show you guys some of the things I am planning on purchasing from the store on my visit to London.

So the first item is the 'Tennis Skirt'.
This item is hugely popular on Instagram which kinda put me of it.. but only a bit! But then as I saw it more and more styled in different outfits and different style I quickly fell head over heels in love with this skirt. I don't what it is about it. Maybe that it is so easy to wear or that it goes with everything or even that when in a what should be a boring outfit it makes it look more interesting ill never know. But I don't think I can live much longer without this item tucked away in my wardrobe.

£54

The next item is the grid patterned Lolita top.
Now this item, I am being seriously truthful here, I really disliked when I first saw and couldn't understand why people loved it so much. But I think it was because I only saw it styled with the matching mini skirt. Which was a problem with me because I think I am the only teen in the planet that really dislikes 2 pieces. But then I saw it styled with other items such as Topshop black joni jeans which is an outfit that I instantly fell in love with. So know I am seriously lusting after this top because of the vast amount of outfits that I have put together featuring it.

 £46

The next and final ( I didn't want to bore you) item is the spandex off- shoulder top.
Now to be quite honest the love for the item isn't specifically for the American Apparel one of it but for any in general. You see my favourite part of my body are my shoulders and collarbones which this style top shows off perfectly therefore making me feel really good about myself wearing it. And also luckily for me they are very much in style at the moment so easily accessible , not going to lie buy I have been stocking up ;) The American Apparel one though does have quite a few good reports of staying tight so I am really wanting to splurge and buy one of these as well as the H&M ones. The only problem being that I have yet to decide whether I prefer long sleeved or short...

£34 ( short sleeved is £30)

I hope you like this post
